How to feel better in midlife

Don't let midlife take you hostage.

Midlife often brings changes that can have a negative impact on our overall health and well being.

You may be dealing with a variety of physical and emotional changes.

Making some simple lifestyle changes can help you feel better physically and emotionally.

I, too, was struggling with my own midlife changes.

After doing my own research, I was encouraged to learn that making these simple lifestyle changes could help.

Really, this isn't anything you haven't already heard before. These are things everyone can benefit from, regardless of their age.

Key Target Areas

*eat mindfully

*move your body

*get adequate sleep

*manage stress

*regular self-care

*fun and connection with others

How you do one thing is how you do everything

Here's some great news! Making some simple changes in any one of the target areas above can also positively affect the other areas.

Getting better sleep can help you manage stress. Managing your daily "little stressors" can help your eating goals.

I am a fellow midlifer who understands

Listen, I get it. As a fellow midlifer, I understand the struggles that can come with this stage. And, I know how much better I feel when I pay attention to those target areas. I had neglected real self-care, used eating comfort foods as my stress reliever, and thought I had to force myself to do exercise that I hated.

Your own Midlife Roadmap

I read a lot of books about the power of lifestyle changes, but I needed to make the lifestyle changes that fit my own life. I needed my own roadmap, and so did my other female friends.

What works for one person doesn't work for another.

My program, Midlife Roadmap, gives women the chance to choose their own target area and make simple lifestyle changes in that area. They plan simple actions that work for their own goals.

Having a clear path through midlife is key to feeling better and thriving instead of just surviving this stage.
